Story time.
My feet smell. 
Nothing special here. And I hated that fact. I tried many things, but at one time, I got to a point where I couldn't bare to look at them. I studied why they are such weird and imperfect shape and I even truly learned to hate them. I would hide them and not look at them for months at a time.
Then, a kind of miracle happened. I got a stuck nail. This caused me pain while putting shoes on and off so I had to spend 2 years painfully and carefully cutting it in such a way what my leg could heal. And only by caring about them for years have I learned to accept the way they look.
While there are many things about your body that you can and should change, best example being weight, I still find it funny noone is ever talking about gender acceptance, since it really is all that is needed to solve this problem.
