Copyleft can be easily understood and has a memorable name, but the free/open source/whatever... How many auch licenses even are there?

You cannot argue the base assumption of a persons morality. It's like trying to explain to a simp how does a family court work.
Simply unless the person is seriously ready to re-evaluate their entire life, there is no argument that will cause them to listen.
