How bad was your anwser exactly? Well, if I were to name the MOST closed up industries out there, industries covered by the big tech would be on 2nd place, closely behind military complex. Military industries are still a monopson, so that still is a bit less free, but that being said, social media has not just a atlasian levels of entry costs... No... Even the biggest companies in the world can no longer afford it.

Ever heard of Google? That small company from California? Yeah, they failed to break into the social media industry. Google + was a total failure.

So, why is that? Simple. Try looking at your paycheck. No, I do not mean the tiny part you actually can spend. I mean the huge cut that is spend by the icecream loving mafioso Biden. He gives a huge part of that money to Google, Facebook and Amazon. These 3 companies then spend YOUR MONEY on secondary sligthy smaller tech companies, to create an ecosystem of giants under 1 condition. They must be part of the gang. So, no matter if your phone is Samsung, Huawei, Nokia etc. All of them come with a Google owned OS, and pre-installed Facebook, Twitter and Amazon.

But wait, there's more.
Have you ever heard of the internet? Quite a technology right? But what if I told you, that the entire structure is based around several dozens of servers connecting names to numbers? These so called "DNS" servers are a centralized part of the internet, and it is PRIVATE. They can just decide to remove your server from their database, and whoever tries to connect to your server will no longer be able to do so without knowing this exact number called IP adress.

But wait there's more...
Since these gigants are all part of 1 team (Let's call them big tech), they have a collective bargening power bigger then entire governments. They dictate the laws to your president, not the other way around. Why? Because they have access to such a technology, they could shut the entire pentagon down by 'accidentally' releasing a wrong patch.

BBBBBUT WAIT. THERE'S MOOOOORE...
This collective has already shown the willingness to demonstrate their power even on individuals. Alex Jones was banned from the entire big tech at once. That was open demonstration of removing a public figure. AND THEN, THEY EVEN REMOVED THE PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HIMSELF WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES!!!

And you think, that us few retards talking to each other is free market? That is the true BOOMER anwser.
