@LukeAlmighty okay I just watched the video. Holy fuck, there people are really, unironically, complaining about how having a shipping container house isn't comfy enough for you if you're some california hipster with money to spend, what a load of shit.
Also
>you can't stack your containers in quirky and funny ways easily, therefore it's bad
argument was such a fucking reach. The only good argument I could see was that you're still gonna have to pay a fuckton of money for getting utilities, permits and foundations set up and moving your house around is gonna be a pain in the ass no matter what so you might as well just save up some more cash and eiither build a real house or buy a camper van, but that's about it.

Really, if anything this video was made for retarded hipsters who look at these structurally deranged, ugly pods and think to themselves "Wow, that looks so quirky and unique and sustainable I need to live like that" and spend 100K on making a monstrosity that caves in under it's own weight within a year. On an unrelated note, you could totally fit a big engine, old howitzer and a pair of treads onto one of these containers and ride it around, why hasn't anyone done THAT instead of this hippie shit?

@greentext
Reading this almost makes you want to make some commissions just to break the artists.

@nukie
That seems to be the paradox of modern housing.

You can say, that young people cannot afford even smallest apartments in commie houses, but the moment, you mention building more of commie houses (maybe even using modern technologies), the boomers start screeching, that noone deserves to live in such shithole.

@picandor
Do you really feel a pressure to fake who you are?

Can you at least turn it off around friends?

@Elizafox
Yes, Windows had advanced so much, that custom color scheme/font size is no longer supported. :blob_facepalm:

That was one of the first moment I had to start thinking about what the hell are they trying to make windows into.

@NEETzsche @Humpleupagus @Zerglingman @dave
Yeah... it feels good to watch the news with parents, and do the "fuck you I was right" dance whenever famine is mentioned. :omegalul:

In this moment I am an accelerationist. I want them to print Zimbabwe quantities of niggerbux while fortifying the elections with six gorillion votes. In this moment, my motivation is wanting to be able say to normies, "I told you so."

@nukie
They are not stackable...
Well, some people did it, and we saw proof in the video, but is just is not possible.

This is the difference between "academic analysis" and "common sense"

Because by stackable, they mean 20 or more... you know... for your small cheap house.

@Humpleupagus @Zerglingman @dave @NEETzsche
Honestly, at this point I do expect the next election to be fortified by 600m vote during the campaign.

Because that is what you get, when you parade around the scalps of defeated voters for 4 years.

Journalists are retarded.

I saw this video, ind it is truly a peak jurnalism.
Thesis: Container boxes can be turned into CHEAP houses.

The findings:
Containers can be turned into houses
They are cheap
They do offer a lot of luxuries of cheap house
People ARE actually using them already

But they're not stackable and they aren't as big as a normal house, so it's not logical to ever use it.
:blobvomiting:

@icare4america
Wasn't this like the very first conspiracy theory on the topic? :blob_facepalm:

@Humpleupagus @Zerglingman @dave
What the fuck happened in 2016?

I still remember Hillary making the "bunch of deplorables" speech, and thinking that it isn't normal. Democracy relied on a moto: Let's find a compromise.

And there she was saying "Fuck these people, they aren't who I care about." openly during an election.

What did I miss?

@Humpleupagus @Zerglingman @LukeAlmighty @dave Correct. The one thing that works in our favor is something straight out of the Turner Diaries: as the system relies more and more on affirmative action, it becomes less meritocratic, and therefore more dysfunctional. So as evil as these people might be, the kind of thing they're doing has a very real time limit, since you can't be both malignant and incompetent and expect to ultimately win in the long run. They're engaging in nigger behavior, demanding immediate results at the expense of the long haul.

They got as far as they did thanks to patience, but now they're brazenly going "okay we win you lose, give us your guns, you get no money, and let us cut up your child's genitals, BIGOT" all at once which is like the opposite of patience. They're sowing the seeds of revolution.
