I didn't say, that you have to exlude them outright, but I just think, that for something to be an S-tear, it should be a "I grow up watching it, and it's still airing" kind of franchise.

One of the first movies I remember watching was the first Star Trek movie. And that franchise is technically still going. So, at the point of Nemesis/Enterprise, it was a perfect example of an S tier.

I grew up watching Star Wars prequels, and that was already 22 years into the franchise, that is still going today.

So, I am sorry, but LOTR, that had one 3 year long run, followed by a second 3 year run 9 years later cannot be called an S-tier by any means.

Definitelly.
I am just shocked, that some nigga on the internet is capable of saying that 21 good movies in, there is no good will :blobcatdefecit:

@LukeAlmighty Worth noting is that the very point of a lot of this stuff is to destroy that nostalgia and good will. These people don't want to capture the franchise and troon it out and keep running with it, at least not in most cases. The point is to troon it out and then leave the husk on the ground where they found it. It's about cultural vandalism.

Imagine spray painting a dick on the Mona Lisa and smugly going "hah, I fixed it. Don't you think?" And if they say otherwise they lose their job and go homeless. It's a humiliation ritual.

Sorry, but LOTR is 3 movies from...
Wow... 20 years ago.

Sorry, but I don't see it as an S tier, unless it was pushing shows/movies for much longer then just 3 entries.

(I just realized Hobit, but still... I would call it strongest of As, but definitely not weakest of Ss.)

@flux @LouisConde
Also, it was the FIRST movie in MCU that used that strategy. It was literally the breaking point of a 21 movies long chain of good fucking will.

I lack the words to describe just how retarded of an example it is.

@flux @LouisConde
because I asked you for a movie with 2 variables (successful through "don't watch it marketing", low legacy fan investment), and you chose a 22nd movie in a franchise an your example, that will have the 2nd variable (fan investment) low.

So, you chose an example so bad, I cannot take you seriously. Ever actually.

@flux @LouisConde
> nostalgia and goodwill doesn't factor into this

Does your mother still have to feed you with that kind of an IQ?

@WashedOutGundamPilot
They will mock you...

It's like trying to scare a fish with water FFS. I have never seen this "air" you're talking about, and at this point, ai don't care.

Went to club expecting nothing but white niggers.

Saw nothing but fat white niggers.

@caskd @pernia
You said you want someone to talk to, not someone to fuck.

Autistic men suffer the hardest from the loneliness epidemic. The switch to gay BF was the trap I was pointing out.

@flux @LouisConde
> Says the 22nd movie in the saga, and one that was expected to be required watch to finish the entire saga.

You're a nigger
