Yes, the opinions you get on the internet are always filtered in an echo chember. But so is the real world. Just the chembers have a different shape.

For instance, in here, noone knows what communism even is, but they know it's safe to hate it. That is the same kind of echo-chember as you get on reddit. But with different population and topics.
