I am not talking about mods though.
I am talking about 20 DLCs and 50 packs the Sims have.

And from the looks of it, mods won't do shit with the paralives, if the base game has nothing to offer. Sims is based around the possibility of making your characters fit a shot ton of archetypes. And this game seems to be insanely hollow for that.

It looks absolutely hideous.
And what's worse is, that games like Sims get an impossible head start by being a content repositories, more then just a game. One of the reasons, why I waited many years before starting x4 was, that X3 had so much content, that starting the sequel felt like a downgrade of everything except for graphics. Sims will have the same advantage.

Nah, this will just push Sims fans to create an entire pirated Sims scene, and EA won't get anything even if their game is for free.
