Most of the 1st gen seriously seemed
1) bulky
2) overpriced
3) fragile

and most importantly, the cheapest one was even connected do fucking facebook.

so, I told myself it will be better to wait until some "truly next gen" one will be released.

It's time. I skipped VR so far, because I seriously didn't believe any of the 1st generation headsets except for the overpriced Valve one, that still had some issues.

But:
Valve is releasing a 2nd gen. And I finally see it worthy of the investment

I am literally timed in my office.
