I woudn't call the game great, but it was decent for what it tried to be. I am a huge fan of their pre-conviction games, so I am quite picky...
But it was definitelly MUCH better then I thought after their E3 trailer. Let's say that a drone strike doesn't help to sell a stealth game...

What is the dumbest game design choice you ever saw?
I started playing Splinter cell Balcklist. The game starts up in action by throwing you straight to the tutorial (no main menu).
The game was in a small window, so I wanted to make it fullscreen and check the graphocs settings. I press ESC to go to settings, but by trying to go to the settings, I skipped the tutorial as well as first part of the story.
