The problem with privacy is that it's kinda too late.

It's like diving to the wreckage of Titanic, to say: Hey, I think this ship is going to sink.

Or going to Twitter and say: Wait a minute, what if that birth control pill is going to have an effect on social stability?

Privacy is an issue of such insignificance, it's hard to even start explaining.

First, it's not my problem directly. I don't feel any pain from being watched.
Second, securing my data would generate a ton of inconvenience for my daily usage.
Third, All of data about me would be leaked by people in my proximity, who don't care about privacy either.

I wasn't able to persuade my own mother of a single rule. "Just don't upload my photos on facebook". A simple rule designed especially to be of least inconvenience to her. But she doesn't care, even if she knows I cared about this rule a lot.

I remember just how mind shattering was the moment, when Ahsoka was talking with a separatist boy.

She was destroying droids for several seasons, and only after that, did she find, that there are actual people on the other side of the conflict. People with their own problems, that she never heard of.

He is taken seriously exactly for the empathy he's showing. He is also intelligent. Do not underestimate the traitor he is.

The sad part is, that he is in fact to terrified of a classical genocide, that he's willing to let a genocide happen, as long, as it's done slowly instead of the usual way.
