The weird thing about christianity for me is the jumping between what I would call a personal God, and a cosmic God.

Cosmic God could have created the universe, be omnipotent and Good, while "ignoring" our day to day suffering, because his plan is beyond our understanding... But then, there is the personal god, who is omnipotent, and "hates watching you masturbate" enough to throw you to suffer in hell for eternity. (And for the love of any God, I won't even mention Peterson here )

But anyway, I am just happy to live in an atheist culture, where it doesn't matter anyway.
