thinking about the time I went to apply for a job and the boomer ass boss had a meltdown because I wasn't there for the interview on the dot, had resume gaps, and wasn't wearing fancy ass clothes.
I made Japanese curry and damn, who would have thought I'd like it? Honestly, Asian tastes are kinda weird, everything's slightly sweet and alien to me or has some very sharp or exaggerated tastes.

But yeah, I added too much water initially. I had prepared some chicken stock and added that and half water, but it seems I needed quite a bit less water so I just did what I could, I simmered it until it turned to the texture I wanted. I mixed the Japanese curry paste myself since I have all possible condiments maybe except nutmeg.

The vegetables didn't turn to mush despite simmering way more than what was provided in the recipe, so all's good. :ina_pat:

This happened to me with fucking programming.

14 years of IT education was almost flushed down the drain, if I didn't find a job, that was close enough, to appreciate the knowledge. (testing)

This one is the most painful one.
I am not stupid, I can count an estimate of what value I am creating during the day. And when you compare it to the price of home, your blood starts boiling.

Douchey but he’s right in that a lot of people quote fantastic levels of pay for jobs that don’t give them enough work to make that level.

“It’s a hundred fifty k a year!!!!” they’ll say, but that’s based on a pay rate of making 50 widgets per day….and the company only lets you make 14.

I got a job in a bookshop, while I told them "I'll be here for 2 months anyway, before I get my dream job"... Well, it took 2 years, so they had more of the "over qualified labor" then they could wish for.

But more importantly, the boss told me: Yeah, this isn't a place where you should try to build a career. I get it.

WOWIE WOW WHERE ARE ALL THE PUNKS TO TAKE THESE JOBS? MUST BE LAAAAAAZY

actually you fat fuck, you’re paying 7 dollars less than wendy’s and those guys are $20k in the hole to get their legally required certifications

From the Kiwi Farms Telegram:
"CenturyLink has responded to the FCC explaining that they refuse to perform their role as a Tier 1 ISP due to unspecified AUP violations.

Anyone in the industry should avoid the companies Qwest, CenturyLink, Lumen (formerly Level 3).

If you are a consumer level customer of this ISP, you should leave and indicate to them that this response was unsatisfactory and you do not wish to patronize a business actively destroying the Internet."

In the official star trek lore:
Federation fell after a single tech hickup, and never rose again.
VS
Mirror uninerse humanity rose and fell several times over the decades. It always fell thanks to our federation's terrorism, and 50 years later, it was always back to conquering the galaxy.

One is strong but fragile
The other cannot be broken. The message is obvious. :omegalul:

Forget defensive prayer.
OFFENSIVE prayer is whats up my nigga.
>just silently praying in front of your enemies is enough for them to use the civil authorities (state monopoly of violence) against you
>tfw I'm now a spiritual terrorist
That will never happen lol
I don't like the MGTOW mindset that much but it's sometimes tempting
