Oh... I also just realized, that I missed the entire point of your comment...

Well, It happens :omegalul:

@alex
Breath of the wild is insane game because of the pure ammount of "intuitive" physics based gameplay and interactions.

But I am still not sure why so many of them are so well hudden. It might even be good, but for me, this game is peak "just google it".

The Blood Moon in Zelda is a perfect example of harmony between engineering and design. It's essentially a cache busting mechanism that NEEDS to happen to conserve system resources. Instead of trying to make it something "the user doesn't notice" by trying to hide it from them, they interwove it into the story, the experience, and the lore. It actually has consequence for the player, which is SO much more interesting. They took a technical limitation and flipped it upside down. This is how you can tell their engineers were designers, and their designers were engineers. It's a cohesive unified vision for the product that perfectly balances design with technical excellence. Even if the hardware was 10x more powerful we'd still want the Blood Moon.

Well, but that's a different question though.

The "conquest part" is not made by the museum, it is made by archeologysts, or soldiers etc.

But muzeum is a corporation, that needs assets. And muzeum artefacts are assets, that can either be bought, or rented.

That IS the distribution. Dumb people can make even dumber rating systems, sure. But a person with an IQ of 150 can surely realize the chance of him scoring beyond 1 humanity.

God, I love being autistic.

@jeff @kaia
And yes, I know that saying that it's not a ranking system is "partially wrong", because statistics show even propability of results outside of the seen sample size.... But we're fucking talking here about a sample size of 8 000 000 000.

Especially, if you're saying, that you would have to re-create the entire population of earth 200 000 times to get a single person as smart as her.

God, I love being autistic.

@jeff @kaia
IQ is not exactly a propability, but more of a rating system calculated using normal distribution, saying, what is the chance of someone being as smart as you, or more.

The current human population on earth is estimated to be around 8 billion. That means, that there is 1 person with IQ, that signifies 1/8 000 000 000 chance of you being that smart.

That corresponds closely to IQ of 195. Anyone who claims to have an IQ over 195 is an uneducated idiot.
