Well, it would be nice to stay above 15 FPS to be honest.

I completely agree with the minimalist graphics. In fact, I see them as essential. But the hardware is in fact getting way too slow. If they can push the HW without adding weight, I see that as an absolute win.
And 8 year advancement in HW is definitelly not something you can just ignore, right?

That line is so far beyond any reasonable standart, that you do not need a peer reviewed paper to know, that it's bullshit. Especially, since it was a new technology, and new technologies require decades of testing to be considered safe in a medical environment.
