I said the 2nd fantastic four movie. I got nostalgia blasted for several weeks now, so I had to see them again.

And the new movies are mising so much style and humanity. I miss the old superhero movies.

I was just watching the 2nd Fantastic four movie in Czech, and realized, that the crowds are ACTUALLY TALKING in that movie.

I mean, you can literally hear some people throw in their lines even when you cannot see their faces.

What a strange change :D

while watching tv and casually playing with a penis

I noticed if you pull his foreskin all the way but exposing front of the head then it looks like amogus

So I quickly drew this capturing the inspiration

I am sorry, but I don't know what you mean. The example is way too precise and full of perfect solutions for me to understand.

Also, there is a huge economic problem with value.

--> 💍
This is a ring that you gave your wife. You payed 100$ for it, and it always brings joy into your life.

I stole and destroyed it. Your wife is now depressed, and you are furious. I pay you 500$, and you buy a new ring, but your wife's smile doesn't return. The memories of your honeymoon are forever shattered. Was justice served? I payed way more then what I took.

I hate this imperfect world. :andyburnt:

You cannot put the "same value" punishment, exactly, because the world isn't a math formula.

If punishment for stealing is returning, then you made stealing 100% profitable no matter how successful you are. If you rape a rapist, he will win twice. Do you really not see the issue with 1:1 justice?

Ok, so what do you do then? Well, the anwser is 100:1 justice. It is also called deterrent or punitive justice. With punishments at a 100x severity of the crime, the criminal does everything he can to avoid said crime. But once he is punished unjustly, he will feel justified to push out 100 times his pain back into the world. To avoid that case, the bast solution we have is still just the presumption of innocence. The famous "beyond reasonable doubt" standart, that we game up on as a society 15 years ago.

So, my point simply is, that justice is insanely complicated shit, that will never be balanced. 🤷‍♂️

Because you create an oscilation. Each punishment causing oposite reaction forcing your hand to add even more energy into the conflict.

why does every american boomer brag about attending woodstock?

for anyone who doesn't know the story, woodstock was a music festival. the infamous incident they refer to was this one time they had really bad logistics (100k expected attendees, 400k actual) which overwhelmed the system, resulting in poor conditions and occasional violence

boomers, for some reason, are proud of not resorting to mass violence? like, rape and murder was kept to relatively low levels because boomers were able to cope with the stress of a mildly uncomfortable weekend getaway via an excess of drugs. they call that a triumph of peace, where by making sure most of the people were zonked out of their gourd for most of the time, their generation was able to maintain basic civility in the face of mild discomfort and no working toilets for three whole days

and they're proud of that? like, they chose to attend a crowded music concert and stay there for the drugs and there were only a couple of rapes and deaths during those 3 days and they see that as something to brag about? how fucking soft do you have to be to think that's impressive?
