@LukeAlmighty @icedquinn @djsumdog The steam controller is GREAT for one thing: playing any game that doesn't support a "normal" xbox type xinput controller, but supports keyboard and mouse. With this, you can play like SIMCITY or Rollercoaster Tycoon on a tv with a bit of fiddling. Although, I hate using it with Steam vanilla, I use a python3 port of a python2 program called `sc-controller` and it works without having to use Steam as an intermediary launcher, which it is terrible at. Gyro controls for shooting are shitty, they are a cop out and shooters are BAD with this controller. Expect to be gimped heavily in online play. Expect to need a more "traditional" controller with two joysticks for most games.
tl;dr Has the ability to play games on a TV meant for a KB+M, but sucks for anything else really. Shooters especially. You'll probably want another controller lying around that supports Xinput or something.
