Why is it that Linus made a pitch for win 11 much... MUCH better in 10 minutes, then the entire microsoft team in a huge presentation?

Corporate shit's getting weird.

Sometimes, I wander, wether it would be possible with modern computers to modify some old games to just load the entire map at once and keep it simulated at the full scale. For instance, I know that in Skyrim, there are mods, that just integrate the cities into the map itself.

And most importantly... Would I notice? Would that be a detail that would change my experience of the game outside of the few obvious exceptions?

What the fuck??? I never knew the game went intu such a detail... Truly mindblowing. (and I'm only 10 min in.)
