@happypirate @DioZeed @LukeAlmighty @justinerickson @WashedOutGundamPilot The dodgy Chinese guys down the road don't have a niche, and they might do internal discounts, but at the end of the day (and I've heard this described as a "circular economy" by an orthodox Jew) they chose at every stage to use Chinese vendors. They know that they can rip people off outside the community and trust people within it. You don't actually need all those libertarian ideas about competitiveness if you folk simply choose you over the invader

Everyone complains that corporations only think one quarter ahead, but white people are only one derivative better. They simply do what's best for thing (on a slightly longer time span). Even Indians are thinking in the second derivative, every family that emigrates is thinking about their lineage. We need to go even further, and think in the third derivative not just about what's best for our company, or ourselves, or out family, but our folk. And that's a massive shift.

This is why I'm ultimately defeatist on (short term) solution. Without our people choosing to engage in favouritism we will continue to lose, and our people have been brainwashed to never ever ever do that. Even 90% of right wingers are proudly and staunchly anti racist. Not until things get bad, and things sink in, and the propaganda wears off (at least an entire generation) will we over come that

I pretty much agree with the things you point out, the problem in practice is that as an e.g. steel fab shop you're going to have a tough time competing with larger outfits that have economies of scale. The way around this is either specializing (find niche) or leveraging the internal economy (those in the group get discounts on all work and kickbacks for referrals). The upstart white tribal collective is going to have to rely on the system for certain raw materials unless you're sourcing lots of scrap for some things, but for other things can be pretty self-sufficient.

The system is terrible at training and retraining for pretty much anything and everything. If we can do better than that, and I think we can, even on a local scale that will make a big difference.
