The thing is that they can't be affected by it because they're the one hiring such people. And since they have the marketing power of making all the negative aspects of it being invisible all other company does the same.
And besides marketing control if you don't comply you're Hitler2 if you don't.
In the GNU/linux communities we are affected by this because:
-Sponsorship by these same corporations.
-Employee of these same corporations are participating in the communities.
-Companies outside of the corporation took the woke pill.
