@LukeAlmighty @RadixVerum I laugh because the other day there was some style advice poast that said to buy shirts with brands on them because that’s what girls like. I presented it to my lady and she noted all those $50 t-shirts she keeps buying me have zero branding at all.

The real quality of the cloth, the visible pattern of the weave, the seams all speak more than a brand logo ever could.

The article mentioned that the groups leaving the workforce most, non-college White men, have been hit with a 30% pay reduction, but then just handwave this away as them "being upset". That isnct a fair representation by a long shot.

I expect they are giving up because they aren't getting fairly compensated for their labor and if anyone notices it at all, it is to shit on the men. So I can hardly blame them for jumping ship.

I do find it alarming, because those are the very jobs that keep the foundations of our civilization running, and nobody is interested in fixing the rot.
