Pretty sure America planted a flag straight into satan's asshole.

@dave
It's not impossible that they were both physically incapable of carrying a pregnancy, but the chances are indeed very low, which makes this suspicious.

I don't even understand who uses motion blur. I used to think at least some people do, the casuals maybe. But then I stumbled upon a clip of a vtuber disabling motion blur... So now I'm convinced no one actually uses it, unless it's forced on you on consoles.

@beardalaxy
Yeah, reading about it you'd think TAA would be good, but I honestly prefer FXAA. Maybe there's some bug in the drivers for my system, but I haven't seen a TAA implementation that looks good.

You'd be better off using a mirror, than trying to see your mirror image in my eyes.

@beardalaxy
It is somewhat better than regular video interpolation, until it isn't, and throws out some really ugly artifacts. And all I get to witness for now is horribly compressed video of it, and I still hate it. I absolutely DO NOT want to play a game with that on.

@thor
Have you tried looking for them on your face? I know it's a cliche, but it does happen.

Watched LTT's video on DLSS 3... I'm actually disgusted.

Let me put some context: I watched on YouTube (which is shitty quality), on 720p, and some of the DLSS 3 artifacts still screamed in my face. And they have the audacity to tell me "it's not that bad" or "you hardly notice it with motion blur". Bitch, I have 10x more video artifacts on top of DLSS artifacts, and I still notice. FUCK YOU.

I lost all respect for their visual fidelity expertise in 15 minutes.

So I guess their earlier video, on how AMD GPUs aren't bad, was an attempt to preempt people calling them Nvidia shills.
Although it's pretty obvious that if they really meant what they said in that one, they'd put their money where their mouth is, and just use AMD cards in more videos. Not just the "we promise AMD drivers are good now fam" that they ended up doing.

If he were a chad, he'd touch the Bible, while looking straight in the eyes of the guy. Maybe even whisper something sinister. Like, "I'm immune to your holly cross now" or something to that effect. Just generally let him know that evil has defeated his god, and he has nowhere to hide anymore.

@Terry
Arizona already stole the presidential elections, so of course it was gonna become a reoccurrence, especially since it wasn't dealt with.

@thor
I don't get this obsession with thinking an acronym must be pronounced similarly to the component words. I never heard about this rule anywhere, and I've only heard it used to defend this pronunciation of GIF.

If we were talking about an abbreviation, that'd be one thing. But acronyms function as their own distinct words, and I don't see why they should follow an obvious made up rule, that doesn't get quoted anywhere else.

Look at JPEG. We call it Jay-PEG, but there's no "jay" in Joint Photographic Experts Group. And we obviously don't advocate to pronounce it "Joi-peg" either, or to remove the "ay" sound from "Jay-PEG". That's because JPEG functions as a distinct word, for which we found a way to say it that rolls off your tongue easily.

If for you it's easy and convenient to pronounce GIF as "GIF", then all the power to you. To me, personally, it sounds like an alternative way to call someone a gimp.

I'll stick to "JIFF", for the same reasons @Balor mentions. It's simply the way I would read GIF as a Romanian word.

@IcyGrillz
It's also probably caused by an imbalance of userbase demographics in general. I'd bet an arm and a leg that Twitter has more left-leaning Americans on the platform than Republicans.

I do hope this trend stays around for a while. Although I find it kinda sad that people don't have enough self control to tone down smartphone use, and they literally have to replace it with a feature phone to control their addiction.
If people were to just turn off notifications for all apps, I figure that would basically solve 80-90% of the problem by itself.

#introduction
Once again I'm in this tag to clear things up for some of the twitter refugees. This is a part of my duties as a Customs Officer for Poa.st. :alert_rgb: Please pay close attention and read carefully for information about your specific situation. :alert_rgb: Thank you.

1. You CHOSE to be a refugee
What does this mean? Well two things. The first is that not everyone here is going to just accept you are some kind of victim. The other is that you are now in a NEW place with NEW cultures and customs. Please be respectful and mindful when you observe and emulate the locals here in the fediverse

2. You CAN go back
What does this mean? It means you only left because you wanted too and you could go back to your site of origin whenever you feel like it. This is only brought up because many denizens here have been around far longer than you and you may not be able to acclimate to the culture here. There is no shame in leaving.

3. Do NOT colonize these spaces
It's understandable to want to manifest your digital destiny upon natives of other "new" and exciting cyber space but this is a safe space for people you may not like or have even ever interacted with in the first place. Try to respect cultural boundaries and history.

4. NIGGERS
