@beardalaxy I dunno thing I have notices is when $70 games started showing up and when that $100 GTA6 rumor started too people were saying "I'll gladly pay it if it's good and not live service slop," not saying that people complaining are the people who were also saying that but that is a reasonable take I think. So unless MKW and other Nintendo games are just bad and have live service mechanics then personally I'm okay (just okay) with more expensive games. In the case of MK specifically I think it will probably have way more content than release MK8 but I fear they might dip their toes into live service/microtransaction junk with costumes and stuff.

@beardalaxy CRTs are just "retro gamer monitor $200 I know what I have" it's fucked. I mean I'm sure you know... but dammit, people were giving them away 10 years ago!!! And prices on good 4:3 LCDs are getting unreasonable now too... I just want a normal option for 4:3, at the least, dammit! There's new 1080p monitors for like $80, why can't they just chop the sides off of it!!!

I got a CRT but I'm about to trash it, it's too dim (even at night) and has some weird alignment issue... If I can ever find a reasonably priced 1600x1200 CRT locally I'll definitely jump on it but I haven't seen much around the past few years...
