@Turdicus a lot of salons have stopped doing both because the chemicals are hazardous and it's also *really bad* for your hair. They're better off just borrowing a curling iron or smth. @becassine

@Turdicus yes but no, when you get a perm, the hairstylist puts it in tight rollers, the perm salt breaks the fibres down to give it that curl. When you get it relaxed, they just don't use a roller. So it's just as bad. @becassine

@becassine harsh — also because I liked having long hair, I haven't cut my hair since grade 5. When it's really curly it's annoying, when I got it relaxed it loosened and was more manageable.

@becassine it's funny because as a guy with normally pretty curly hair, people were shocked when I relaxed it because it went from 1 → 1.5x

@becassine as someone with naturally curly hair this bothers me. Also perms are just bad for your hair and many stylists aren't doing them because the chemicals are corrosive.

@becassine My grandpa was convinced the jab and COVID are bullshit because "Tanner hasn't gotten sick and look at how reckless he is" so … it's progress?

Have managed to convince my boomer grandmother that the government is being stupid and maybe we should start questioning what they say about covid. Also she accepted that Pfizer might be pushing vaccines to make money.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are making progress
Globohomo is inherently anti-environment

You can’t be a globalist and an environmentalist at the same time

Funny enough, when I used to ask the customers if they wanted to skip a plastic bag (fr: cornette) most of the ones who *eagerly* agreed were rather right leaning. Which completely busts the "right-wingers hate the environment" stereotype open.

My crush called my cute so it's time to obsess about that for the rest of the week.

@ChristiJunior I'm a zoomer so I don't have much memory of the "good" pokemon, but I still like it.

@ChristiJunior if this was twatter you'd be swarmed by the poketards by now.

@cirnog even my dad and I building a cabin that we use maybe 2~3 months out of the year (northern USA and Canada be cold yo) the state government made us fill out a shit ton of paperwork and it took 2 years to finally get it built. Fuck that. @becassine @deprecated_ii @LouisConde

>managed to play being slightly drunk off in zoom classes as having a cold

nice

As someone who used to "flip burgers" getting it to be done right every time especially during a massive rush, while making sure everyone is happy while getting rock bottom pay and you're probably having to work while sick is NOT an easy job.
