You have people all over saying they're worried about Matt Petgrave's mental health after "accidentally killing someone." You don't just accidentally kick someone with an ice skate. If the races of these two had been reversed there would be instant terminations, everything would be a shit show. Fucking remember that. @kvit I made the mistake of looking at what people on Reddit were saying about it. So many people saying this was a crazy accident and hoping for the nigger's mental health to be okay. How the fuck are you a fan of hockey, or play hockey, and see this as an accident? It's insane. Physics don't work in a way that this can be considered an accident. If you slip in hockey you're not having one leg go fly straight toward someone's head, both of your feet slide out from under you and you fall on your ass/face.
The proof is even more glaring when you find that this nigger has the most penalties out of anyone in the league by a long shot. He's mean spirited at best.
I'm sure my roommate's already heard about this, I'll have to get his take on it tomorrow. He's a big hockey guy and has been playing for a long time. I'm a hockey enjoyer but I'm not a player/superfan like he is so he'll have a much deeper pool of information to pick from. I'm interested in what he has to say.

@Shlomo that's fair. Out of all the deaths I've seen on camera this one is by far the worst, I'm never going to unsee that shit. I feel really bad for all the kids who were at the rink. At the very least the EIHL put out a notice for people to get some trauma counseling and canceled games but I think they should have also permanently suspended him on the spot. If nothing happens to him it's gonna make things even worse.

"In 2010, Petgrave was suspended for five games, according to the Canadian Hockey League, which wrote, “Matt Petgrave will sit out the next five games for an infraction in the third period of last Saturday’s 9-4 win over Sarnia.”
In 2018, the ECHL announced that “Brampton’s Matt Petgrave has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #963, Brampton at Kalamazoo, on April 7.” The ECHL is a mid-level professional ice hockey league based in New Jersey.
That same year, he was suspended for one game, according to the American Hockey League, which wrote on its website, “Laval Rocket defenseman Matt Petgrave has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a slew-footing incident in a game at Toronto on Mar. 28. Petgrave was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 21.1 after being assessed a match penalty. He will miss Laval’s game tonight (Mar. 30) at Binghamton.”
According to the U.S. Hockey Rule Book, “Slew Footing is the act of a player using his leg or foot to knock or kick an opponent’s feet from under him.”
A statement on the ECHL’s website said, “Petgrave is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions at 3:46 of the third period. Petgrave will miss Brampton’s game against Adirondack today (April 8) and any further discipline will be announced at a later date.” That article did not provide additional details."

yes, there's precedent for the injury itself happening, and many people have been saying that neck guards should be mandatory now because it's happened enough times to be a serious cause for concern, but the WAY these injuries have happened is NOT the same as Johnson's.

@beardalaxy Of course it's this kind of fucker. It's an unspoken rule that if you're the one token black person on the hockey team you are the enforcer. Makes me think of Peter Worrell on the Florida Panthers. He would be sent out, deck a guy instantly, and then take his time out in the penalty box. I think he had the most penalty minutes in the NHL some year he played too.
Won't be long before the whole of professional hockey, every league on every continent, to start going "we stand with the black hockey community :(" now and completely memory hole the dead person as a result of an aggressive nigger.
