Can't believe I got this Shinobu figure for $5. $20 with shipping. It does make a little bit more sense when opening the box because it was just 3 pieces (base, body, head) in separate compartments of a plastic bag, inside a cardboard buffer. So nothing crazy there like a plastic mold to keep the pieces safe. No idea how I'm going to transport it, I'll have to get some rags or bubble wrap to put in there.

Funny enough, the box did draw some blood, pushed my cuticle back with a pretty clean slice. I guess that's my offering :shinobu_yell:

With that, I have no more room on my current makeshift display shelf thingy. I'm going to have to get an actual display shelf now because there are more where that came from. All that junk I used to make this one is pretty old and rickety anyway, so it's best I just buy a full shelf. Gonna try to find one that has glass doors for a reasonable price.

got the riju amiibo pre-ordered!
it's $30 so a little steep for something as small as an amiibo, but it's not like they are ever going to make an actual figure of her. she's one of my favorite characters in zelda period though, so i wanted to get the amiibo.

Sounded great and the brisket guy gave me a shit ton of it let's goooooo

when i make my actual game i'll be making sure to use single height walls instead of double height because that will really help with the camera issues.

i could also use fixed angles or first person mode, but i really want it to be third person with a more dynamic camera.

it seems like RPG In A Box doesn't have any camera culling? i'll have to look into that more, there's probably a way to do it. for now, though, i'll have to give the player full control over the camera angle.
also, doors.
