it's still so weird to me when people say that NGS *still* doesn't have enough content. a AAA game can come out and have a 20-40 hour campaign and that's enough content for $60, but a free game having that same amount of content (at least, playing the content once) is apparently not good enough?

i guess it's flattering that people want there to be more content so that they can play the game more, it means they do like the game even if they shit on it. but i just don't think it is realistic to think that a free game with ongoing development will have 100s of hours of content always at your fingertips.

@dommymommy i'm not usually a direct person. i think it comes more from a place of just trying not to worry/stress as much. when it gets to the point of something really bugging me, or i can see it having an effect on other people even if i'm alright, that's when i'll be direct about stuff usually.

@dommymommy not a fan of white lies, but i think you do have to not give the full picture every now and then. not saying anything isn't lying. not everyone who asks you something is doing it for the right reasons.

also, sensationalizing stories to make them sound funnier is great.

@dommymommy i was a good student for the classes i actually enjoyed. i was always well behaved, but if i didn't like something or find any use in it, i didn't really care. between everything else going on in my life i only had so much energy to devote to crap i didn't give a shit about.

senior year in HS was awesome because i just took web development, two writing classes, three of the same exact music composition class (i had it two periods in a row one day and one period the next day), and i cleaned up a couple credits i had failed but it wasn't a huge issue. the required gym class i had to take i didn't have to do anything in because i had seizures super bad back then, basically just sat around and talked to girls who didn't want to do anything either xD

@dommymommy heavy rain. the sound it makes is amazing, and the colors of the world are super flat so it's easy to look at, while the reflections in puddles and rain drops hitting the surface give everything depth since there aren't any shadows.

that's why i can't stand ssr. there are always weird outlines around things or reflections that shouldn't be possible.
