@marine I once voted for myself in a game jam 10 years ago because I felt like nobody else took the theme as seriously as I did.

@DVDchan these days I'm usually in the protecc mindset over the fugg one, even when something is erotic, so I feel you. It's why I love stuff like alke's art so much for instance, it radiates innocence and happiness.

Of course I'm just one guy, and not even an artist, but you should go and paint or draw whatever you feel like is going to make you best able to express yourself! There will inevitably be people that don't like it or whatever, but the same thing happens with music too, you know? Styles change, people change, we want to experiment with more genres and stretch our capabilities sometimes. Go for it!

Whew, today was a doozy for game dev. Started working on a side quest and, while I can usually just program as I go and keep everything in my head because I already have the story of the quest down and everything, this time there were so many moving parts, deceivingly so, that I actually had to type out an outline for the whole thing. Doing that really helped me sort it out and get the quest working squeaky clean!

Still, got that done and squashed an old bug while I was at it :) good stuff!
