@rick @enigmatico you can still update without any issues while lacking tpm. They only require it for their encryption software iirc. You just need to change something in the registry I believe and then you can update.

Might not be a good idea to do that if the laptop is old enough, though. Older people who aren't very tech literate have a really hard time getting used to a new OS too, and 11 is way different from a UI perspective. If you do install it for her in the future, I'd recommend modding it up to look/feel like her Windows 10 install.

@Shlomo I got this feeling from fallout 4 and I knew it wasn't going to be better with starfield. I was hoping the pure role play aspects would make up for the rest of the game being very bland, but they really don't. Not in any meaningful way.

Is there a term for something that wasn't traumatic per se but still left a lasting, negative impact on you?
