@icedquinn i'm moreso talking about things like i-frames, reload speed, movement speed, things that make the game actually FEEL a certain way while playing a certain class/hero/etc. or if we take fighting games as an example, stuff like knockback or launch angle of a certain move.

buffing those sorts of things always makes a character feel better to play, but nerfing them will make the character feel worse to play. they might be more balanced, but not as fun anymore.

@icedquinn i just tend to be in the camp that buffing things makes them more fun, while nerfs make them more boring. you can balance for both ways, but buffing is usually harder since you have to bring everything up to the gold standard's level instead of just taking the gold standard and nerfing it. that's why devs *usually* go for nerfs.

@icedquinn i think most people agree that buffing is better than nerfing, at the very least

@PinochetsCommieCopter she looks like she belongs in the land of confusion music video

okay something is definitely fucked up with my room when i can have the window fully open at 55F and it is still hot in here.

@TheEternalBungholio idk i kind of like all of them. it depends on the race for some of them too. i love white girls with blue eyes and red hair but on an asian girl that probably ranks lowest.

i love that every time PSO2 gets a balance change, it's buffs. that's how you do it, other than the most egregious cases.

@kvit @Giganova8 i know who i'm talking to but she's still only the 2nd cutest
