@xianc78 most of these people are trendchasers, and getting the vax was trendy among their peers so they did it.
i actually have a few friends who have been actively protesting that never got jabbed and didn't vote for biden, but could still be classified as highly liberal individuals. none of them have social media or smart phones lol. it's these kinds of people that i get along with so much more even if we disagree on a lot of things. ultimately they still want liberty and they still hate the government and corpos.
@applejack idk what they did but the movie started right on time lol
Just got back from The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
It was decent. Some funny moments, cool combat scenes. Acting was great. Good sound mixing.
Though, I grow tired of WW2 as a setting because it's always the exact same thing. It's based on a true story but there are obvious embellishments such as an apparent token character addition and the Nazis being comically evil at times. It's first and foremost a comedy movie so it makes sense, but the portrayal is always exactly the same. The English being these quick-witted jolly men and the Germans being complete scum. It just gets a little tiring. Though, if I wanted something with more nuance going to a Hollywood comedy movie isn't *ever* going to offer that.
There were some awkward shots and cuts, and in particular a good 10-15 minutes where it seems like they forgot all about the brightness of the film and it was sort of washed out and hard to see, even in a dark theater. I think the editing could have used a lot of work.
Still, I only paid $6 to see it and I feel like I got my money's worth. It was inoffensive and more or less a fun movie to watch.
I'll rate it 1 Danish man killing countless Nazis/10.
@BlinkRape i've never really had a problem, this is actually the first time i've had to replace a phone because it's just gotten bad. but i think phones in general kind of just suck, they come out way too often and that leads to them becoming obsolete and riddled with issues very quickly.
@MoeMortem everything seems to be in working order, but i must check for sure!
