@icedquinn no just something that Barret from FF7 would agree with lmao
@anemone like it's almost insulting to tell a Vietnam vet "thanks for your service" because they didn't serve fucking anything, they went into a jungle completely unprepared and got blasted with cancer before losing the war to help randos in a different country.
@anemone I hate the myth that's been going on forever now that soldiers are the ones keeping us free somehow. If anything they just help perpetuate the status quo.
@Zoomerman88 it's all the same value
@icedquinn I've been using a samurai cpu cooler and that thing is dead fucking silent. My modem gets louder than my computer does. When I'm gaming it's mainly the gpu fan that I hear but it's got a much more pleasant noise profile than the fucking buzzing from the modem.
@Kyonko802 the argument you could make is that it's historical, but it doesn't stop them from enjoying it. Just copium.
@icedquinn Barretcore
@Ronnie21093 wouldn't be surprised.

@icedquinn @xianc78 as long as it tastes good and doesn't make your stomach hurt, it's gucci.
@xianc78 #5 is unequivocally the best option out of all these. i stand by my anime avatar shitposter brethren.
the true way to go though is knowing that you won't get absolutely everything you want from just one place. nobody really had that way of thinking until the massive social media conglomerates came around. i've got newgrounds, fedi, gaming/game dev forums, and discord all for different purposes. just like hanging out with a different group of friends, or your family instead of your friends, you'll act differently and talk about different things and there are certain social rules to follow. all that jazz.
@ChristiJunior @LittleTom with great power comes great responsibility
i think the next leap in character customization isn't more outfits, or more sliders, or anything like that. i think the next best step would be to let the player dial in exact measurements for body parts. it'd be really cool to measure your own neck, thighs, arms, head, etc. and then plop those values into a character creator instead of trying to fiddle with sliders and esoteric values that don't actually mean anything except in relation to themselves on an individual level. i think the only thing that games really have this for is height.
also, better beards k thx. every game either has shitty little goatees and moustaches or these massive braided dwarven beards. give us some nice, full beards PLEASE.
@jeff it's about time, hopefully it sparks more because they're not going down a great path currently
@deprecated_ii it's definitely a slow burn movie though, wouldn't work nearly as well in a shorter runtime
