@Suzu goblins are attacking the village because THEY ARE GOBLINS and IT IS WHAT THEY DO why can't it be that simple? they are agents of evil and chaos.

at BEST, goblins serve something else. they might serve some orcs who have higher capacity for thinking, or dragons who they worship that offer them safety in return for demanding riches be brought to them (and every now and then one of them gets eaten but whatever). they are little shitlets that are supposed to be fodder creatures.

gone is all of the actual lore here, all you get is the stat block and "idk do whatever the fuck you want with them as long as it's kind of fruity"

and that can be seen 100% in the player races too. sorry sorry, i mean SPECIES. we can't say races anymore because that's racist or something. these people are absolutely insane.

@rosey probably because binding of isaac has been out for a lot longer and people have played it to death.

personally i don't like the core gameplay of isaac that much, i can see myself playing dead cells or hades way more if i ever did play them.

@jimmybuffettfanaccount @TornadoOfTerror bethesda put out the abomination that is starfield. machinegames made 3 stupid wolfenstein games in a row and apparently can only make good games if they are quake and doom mods. nobody cares about indiana jones. it was todd howard's dream to make an indiana jones game years ago, that's the only reason it got made in the first place.
