@LittleTom I surprisingly have never played a ninja gaiden game beyond the NES ones even though they're right up my alley. It looks really fun.

i'm going to try giving all of my monsters their maximum hp value for today's session and see how it goes. my players are just tearing through encounters right now. the ranger especially is really fucking good. i don't know why people complain about rangers man, this guy is consistently dealing more damage than anyone else every turn. like 40+ if he gets both hits.

it's not really too fun when you have to roll for initiative and then there is only one round of combat and the enemies don't even get to do anything cool. so i'm going to boost their hp just to see how it goes.

second play session of nine sols, there is definitely a little bit of jank with off-screen enemies attacking you and spotting you. that's kind of lame. otherwise, it definitely feels like a game where i know i'm not good at it yet but it makes me actually want to take the time to get good at it because harder segments usually have a save point nearby or, if they don't, they have a shortcut to the save point that you can unlock so you don't have to travel as far. it's a really hard game, but death is not too unforgiving. good balance so far.

@bleedingphoenix well, doa6 was a little bit toned down in the clothing department, at least for the base game. idk about any of the DLC because there was probably swimsuit stuff galore if i had to guess.

they didn't release dead or alive xtreme 3 scarlet outside of japan because they didn't want to deal with the backlash. but, they are releasing venus vacation prism globally.

back in like 2018 or 2019 i think they got shutdown by EVO because they had gravure idols commentating the games or something like that lmao.

seems pretty good. apparently ninja gaiden 4 is produced by xbox studios though so that's probably not going to be great in terms of censorship and what-not. from what i'm seeing of ng2b, nothing has been censored and it might even be more gory than the original (?)

@maylay i bought brand new RAM last year and it was DOA, couldn't figure out the issues forever and thought it was my GPU because it's a little stanky to begin with. very thankful for memtest.
