@Forestofenchantment @get @Lyx @sendpaws they're both metal bands. animals as leaders i usually describe as "music for musicians" because it's extremely technical and might not be great for like, an average listener. killswitch engage is a classic, they've got AMAZING stuff.

Holy shit..... Hax$ just passed away. He jumped in front of a train and lost his leg, which became infected. Died in the hospital. Hax fucking money. One of the greatest Melee players ever.

He crashed out over another top player (Leffen) for a bit and was permanently banned from the Smash scene for it. Eventually, he cooled down and apologized several times, but was never let back by the TOs despite large public support. There was a lot of vitriol on both sides and nothing was ever done about anything Leffen said.

Hax was a highly technical player and destroyed his hands because of it, which led him to create an arcade-style controller for Smash. He also pushed for mods to help clean up some issues with Melee and was always forward-thinking with Melee's best interests in mind. Just trying to keep the game alive and fun for as long as possible.

I always thought his ban was unnecessary and extreme. If I still had my old Twitter or Facebook accounts you'd see plenty of "FREE HAX$" posts from years and years ago. I bet there are some floating around in YouTube comments.

God bless Hax's family right now. This is horrible.

@sendpaws @get @Lyx i know there are plenty, but they seem to get a lot of shit still. even bands like living colour.

@teto I spent $1000~ on phantasy star online 2 but that was over the course of 4 years and the system was great because you could sell and buy everything with in-game currency. I would just drop $10 on a scratch and could always get the stuff I wanted from it. It's pretty much the only game I played so it's not like I was spending money on other games either. It's like buying a AAA game every quarter, and I have plenty of friends who did that or even more than that. I feel like, for how much gameplay I got out of it, kind of worth. That also includes the price of premium while I had it, which is probably around half the amount.

Definitely would never have spent that much on the gacha if you weren't able to sell the stuff you got from it. Might not have spent anything. It's the only time I've EVER bought stuff like that. I can't fathom how people spend any amount of money, let alone hundreds of dollars, so that they can maybe get what they want. Hell, I'd be frustrated when I get shit I'd never use from free drops in games like rocket league or call of duty.

@GrungeQueef James got frisky with the mannequins and now he has to take responsibility
