back in the day, games were expensive to the point where you parents would get you one game for your birthday and one game for Christmas. maybe your one rich uncle would have a lot of games at his house so you'd go over there to play them.

i am pretty sure we are going back to those days.

oh yeah, there's some new kirby forgotten land dlc too and i really like that game, a lot, so i'll probably get that

bundle with mk9 is $500 so imma buy that. little steep.... but i definitely wanna play that game. definitely wanna play air riders.

it's got a 1080p120hz screen, and has 4k output. hopefully there are enough games that actually utilize that. metroid prime 4 does have a 120fps 1080p mode and 4k60 mode so that's pretty cool.

mario kart world, donkey kong bananza, and kirby air riders all look awesome. i've been waiting for a new kirby air ride for a very long time so i'm glad to see that finally coming. also a new FAST game, big fan of that franchise. gamecube nso is cool, but don't wanna pay a subscription for it.

june 5th is a crazy day to release, that's really soon. two months away!

lot of complete slop in that direct though, like who the FUCK wants the camera? a dedicated chat button? how much are the game upgrades?

i wish it was a lot more tight for a first presentation of this console.

@arc yeah they are getting a lot more rare. I took a couple out to the desert to shoot when I was 18 with some buddies and hella regret it. I had no idea.

@littlealzi_art I would just assign everyone a number and then search on Google "random number between x-y" and it should pop up with one. There's probably a better way to do that though.

@arc but yeah I think the only site that makes good use of that extra space is twitch, because of the chat. Phone layouts started becoming popular right around the time that 4:3 monitors were on their way out so we never really good websites that utilized the entire wide-screen size. Maybe that's for the best though... I can imagine it being pretty cluttered.

@arc I wish I had one of those crt monitors, you're getting awesome contrast, smooth picture, and low latency. Still pretty good resolution too. A really good one will push above 1080p in 4:3 but it's more common to find 768p.
