i got all the local LLM shit set up but idk man i'm like retarded with this shit, i get like 3-5 messages in and then it just gets stuck generating forever and nothing i've tried will mitigate that.

so yeah that's not gonna happen, i've already pushed it far back outside of my mind for now lol maybe i'll be able to do it with a better gpu or something a few years from now when tech is better anyway. i have a 2080ti but it is scuffed and i'm still running ddr4. i've heard turing isn't as good with generative AI stuff as later architectures are too.

playing solo d&d with grok. just had a cool moment where i told a magic shop owner i would get the secret of his rival's enchantment process by sneaking around her magic shop. went over to her magic shop, saw the same thing i wanted for cheaper, told her about this dude hiring spies to get her secrets, and she gave it to me for cheaper than he was going to.

@BasedLunatic ehh, there are still plenty of tells imo. i remember there was this test with images to see if you could tell if they were made with AI or not and i got a pretty high score. i think the only ones i failed were where i thought it was AI because there were some errors that it seemed like a human wouldn't make, like lack of symmetry. in those cases it was just kind of bad art lol.

maybe AI will get to the point where it is literally impossible to tell if it is real or fake, but for now i think it's pretty easy. other than the strange visual artifacts, i think the biggest tell is odd movements. things that scream in your head that you're looking at footage of a skinwalker. the motions are usually impossibly fluid.
