he hasn't said anything through his official channels (twitter, baraag, fanbox) and the post in question is still up on baraag. so... does he even care or is he just trying to hide?

@Jens_Rasmussen no it jumps back and forth so that you stay playing as one character for longer. for instance, you get tons of cutscenes and playable sections from the years leading up to the events of the game, and you also have times when you switch between characters and play as them during events that have already taken place with the other character. that sort of thing.

i have thought ever since watching a playthrough of the game that it would have been much better if it were told from beginning to end instead of all mixed up like that. a major reason for that is because you are supposed to immediately play as joel's killer, abby, right after killing him. over time, you get more insight as to why she did it but the whole time you just fucking hate her. if they were to build up her character and her motivations FIRST it would have been better, though still pretty shitty. that's what makes it clear to me that neil druckmann didn't care as much about the story aspect of the game as he did trying to shock and gaslight players.
