Man, within the first hour of music today the corn dog guy comes up to me in the middle of the song saying he made one for me. I felt bad turning it down but man, I can't eat and sing at the same time bro what did you think was going to happen? 😭
Those corn dogs give me crazy heartburn too. They're really good, but just too much.
@ChristiJunior someone is about to become a jill sandwich

@SuperDicq it may as well have been, gaming has hardly progressed at all in the past 10 years other than some weird AI shit that makes your game look bad

@PurpCat i was never going to play it, put 7 hours in on hollow knight because my roommate really likes it and i just could not get into it at all.
from what he's told me, it seems like the game is massively difficult right at the start at only starts to get easier once you slog through it and get more power ups, so he likes it a lot now after doing that. still says hollow knight is probably better but doesn't know yet since he hasn't beaten the game.
it seems to me like it is right up that same alley that dark souls is where you absolutely fucking hate it until you beat your head up against the brick wall enough to break through and by then you're both retarded and strong headed enough to keep playing and enjoy it. not my cup of tea AT ALL. even hollow knight was kind of like that for me and i was willing to try and thug it out for a bit, but nothing about the game actually engrossed me so i gave it up.
i can understand why people like these intensely difficult games, because it offers a challenge, but to me i don't want my games to be overly challenging unless i MAKE them challenging. stuff like purposefully increasing the difficulty after a first playthrough, or doing challenge/speed runs. something like kirby and the forgotten land, where the majority of the challenging stuff is all post-game or optional challenge mode stuff if you're trying to go for 100% completion. i want to experience a great, highly polished and extremely well-paced game first, and then go on the hunt for higher achievements afterward.
