@bruh_momento i played console games all the way until i was 19 and bought my first pc. swapped over to mouse and keyboard instantly lol i don't get why people have such a hard time with it.

there are genres that are certainly far better with gamepad (like racing and 3d platformers, for the analog movement), but shooters are DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THEM.

@maylay the Wii U is by far the best box you can get if you're wanting to play all Nintendo games pre-Switch so I'm glad it is still getting a lot of love.

Damn, MattKC doing God's work and making an application that turns a Linux install into a Wii U gamepad. Super important actually, because Wii Us NEED that Gamepad to function and they are A) region locked and B) no longer repaired by Nintendo. This is extremely good for ensuring the console doesn't become little more than a paper weight.

first it was LAN play that everyone got rid of and now apparently you just NEED to play online with everyone? gay as fuck what if i just want to play with my friends and some AIs fuck off

@Tony it's for MMO players mainly and it's so fucking nice to have. it makes it so you never have to use the 1-0 keys for your hotbar and can just map them to your mouse instead. that way, you can focus on your movement with your left hand. maybe not as important for like, runescape, but i play phantasy star which is a full action game and you NEED to be on top of your shit. a lot of people opt to play with a controller instead.
