it's really interesting seeing new star fox players vs old star fox players reviewing the new remake.
people who have played the 64 original tend to think it is still a great game but that it doesn't do enough extra to justify the price point or even its sheer existence, although they have hope for the future of the series now.
however, people who are just playing star fox for the first time seem to be fucking loving it. they love how different it feels from every other modern game, whereas the old guys wish it had some more modern sensibilities in it.
super interesting dichotomy going on there.
@irie it's extremely hard to do time travel right. Gotta have a LOT of disbelief being suspended.

The most pernicious aspect of LLMs imo is the sometimes very subtle way it convinces you you are so smart so you feel good using it and keep using it.

gta6 is $80, $100 for the ultimate edition. it doesn't even come with the disc, it's a code in a box. there are in-game shops you can't access unless you buy the ultimate edition.
this game really is going to suck ass isn't it? and people are still going to eat it up.
