david was too stupid to realize that he could still get lucy to the moon without becoming a cyberpsycho. could have kept running normal ass gigs, toned down on the cyberware when it started to affect him, or even sacrificed himself in a way that didn't involve many other people getting sacrificed too. david is one of the most selfish characters i've ever seen because he doesn't think about the way his actions will impact anyone else, even the people he supposedly cares about, he just has his sights set on doing whatever it takes for him to feel fulfilled. he thinks of himself as some godlike person that the world revolves around just because he can handle more chrome than most people, and when he finally starts having issues with it he's too selfish and prideful to strip it back, just like maine. he learns nothing throughout the show and his character arc is horribly unsatisfying.

@shebang it was made by a japanese studio, there was an english dub for it probably done by netflix i'm assuming.

unfortunately, it didn't get an actual subtitle translation from japanese to english, just the dubtitles. i don't speak japanese and even i could tell that it was off in a few places :P

i just kind of found a lot of the characters pretty retarded, which made everything unsatisfying. it was like the anime was bleak for the purpose of being bleak rather than trying to actually make sense WHILE being bleak. last of us 2 has a similar problem.

i wish that it had just been longer so the characters had more time to talk with each other about all the events that happened, and i think that would have made me like a lot of the characters more and it probably would have made the story go in a different direction too.

@shebang more or less, i thought it would have been a lot better if it were longer and they fleshed the characters out more. i didn't think the story was that great at all.

the action/music/animation was all pretty great though. i was just kind of underwhelmed on the story aspect.

@FutaFanatic it is quite far away. i pre-ordered my reimu fumo in like june i think, and it won't come until november

at least i know i'll still be living in the same place for both dates so i won't have to do anything weird with the shipping.
