@TalmudTranslator @Terry @ImperialAgent @1nter4ri @BigDuck @VidMasterEon idk the stories here reflect the discussions i've had with people IRL as well as my own experience. there are lots of people that do have a good experience for sure, and there are still good people in the church, but there's a lot of horrible shit too.

a lot of people talk about their experiences there as a way to vent and help cope with it because, at least in utah for sure, the social grip of mormonism is really strong for a lot of people and that can take a toll on your mental state.

but yes they are definitely faggots lol. i wish people who left the church didn't immediately latch on to some other brainwashing NPC shit but i guess that's typical human behavior.

1) were raised in it from birth and don't know anything else and the social dogma of leaving would be so much that they don't even consider it
2) are from third world countries and are either actually stupid or are just poor and want someone to take care of them

when i was training for a mission, they beat it into us practically that we had to ask someone if they wanted to get baptized after the very first lesson. they're pretty desperate for members as they're practically bleeding them at this point except for the babies born straight into it and the gullible people from the third world.

do you think majora's mask is also just an over-glorified DLC? that one had about 5 years less in the oven and reuses textures, character models, etc. but has its own brand new story, brand new places to explore, and new gameplay mechanics.

totk is exactly the same. originally intended to be DLC, changed to being its own game very early on.
