What do you guys prefer when playing a character in an RPG?

The chosen one whose destiny has been intertwined with the fate of the world who wields power he's had since being born, OR the random guy who saves everyone with sheer willpower alone?

Think OoT Link VS WW Link.

Personally, I like the random guy approach more. They have always been my more favorite characters, I think because it makes it more relatable. Playing Skyrim without actually being dragonborn is awesome.

Destiny characters can still be cool though, like Aang from ATLA, but it wouldn't be nearly as good of a show if literally all his friends (except Zuko I suppose, technically) weren't just regular people in comparison (especially Sokka).

@Mr_NutterButter you can make pretty girls, and i don't know to what degree you can change the actual body type or if it's mainly the face you can change. the video i took this from only changed the face. so maybe you can slim them up a bit, because this is a pretty stout halfling.
