The phrase "the writing is on the wall" likely comes from Daniel in the Bible where he tells the king of Babylon that God has deemed him unworthy of running the kingdom. And living.

"God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. Though art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians."

One day, lads. One day.

February is awesome, I can't wait until she joins the story in book 2 of Elizabeth the Compunctious...

@suquili @RehnSturm256 I'm sure a lot of people do that actually. They're probably used to it.

@tabarchie whatever you like more of course! But personally I love seeing colored art :)

I actually had a premonition this morning about someone ringing the doorbell. In my dream, a lead vocalist from a band rang the doorbell and then I woke up, went and checked the door just to make sure it was in my dream. Nobody was there, but 5 minutes later someone came to drop off groceries for my roommate, and about an hour earlier than they were supposed to. Super weird.

nobody tell them about the chocola and vanilla ones

@susie that's kind of along the lines of what i was thinking, like just clarifying it's a date for fun or something. definitely wouldn't expect either of those things on a first date anyway lmao.
