@tomie this isn't something where i'm like "oh you should eat nothing but sandwiches and rice for every meal since that's the cheapest!" it's just... maybe don't order food deliveries every day. that burns a hole in anyone's pocket, whether it's 2025 or 1995.

my point is that people see the $80 price tag and freak out but they don't realize they are getting milked dry by other things in their life that probably aren't worth it.

there's something to be said about over-indulging in extreme convenience i think. you gotta have some self control if you want to buy nicer things. some people are spending $50+ a week in delivery fees alone. i had a roommate who would get uber eats twice a day. really not good for the wallet. people acting like budgeting isn't a thing people have done forever, which very frequently involves cutting fast food and curbing addictions. like, how many of these people complaining about mkw's price dropped $100 on their gacha game of choice last month? yknow what i'm saying?

mario kart world seems to run at 30 fps if you're playing with 4 players again.
that's a bummer, would much rather take a hit to get to 60.
but apparently there is a 120 fps mode that they also just haven't shown off yet? kinda weird.
