@MaleGoddess so like an ends justify the means kind of thing. I still think it's retarded but most people are also retarded so I guess you have to be retarded for them to get it sometimes. I just put myself in the shoes of a parent whose child brings this to them all confused. I'd be pretty annoyed regardless of whether or not I believe in the overall message. It's really weird to do something like this.

@MaleGoddess Nobody is going to open an Easter egg and have their mind changed on this, if anything it'll just annoy them and make them care even less about him. It's the same shit as seeing BLM notices every time you tried to play a game of call of duty post-floyd. Of course, the situation being talked about is MUCH different, but the end result of putting stuff like this where it doesn't belong is the exact same.

@Nils we don't like being inconvenienced over a long period of time. If a sore throat was 10x worse but was done in an hour I would much rather take that.

@grey 20 boneless wings + large fries is $16.99 it looks like. Not sure the endless wings would be a great deal for me but I've got a body builder friend who would probably love it. Dude orders his burgers with 5 patties like it's nothing.

@grey I wonder how many wings you have to eat for this to be worth it. I don't think I would be able to eat enough unless I was starving.

That being said if anyone has some recommendations for good work shoes (being on your feet for 6 hours), preferably ones that come in solid black, let me know! I'll probably end up just buying the same ones again but I'd like to hear if anyone's got some trusty ones.
Currently using New Balances, really like them. They've got a lot of mesh, which is nice for keeping cool and light, but that does make them more fragile. Had these since 2022 and I was using some Nike basketball shoes before then which lasted 8 years.

I have to buy new shoes finally. I superglued my current ones but now they have worn so thin in that spot that if I am wearing thinner socks it is pretty irritating.
I've got two more pairs of shoes but they're skating shoes and don't feel really good to work in. They're what I wear to gigs or just hanging out but working in them sucks.
I have boots too, and those I don't mind working in, but they do get really hot so not the greatest now that we're in Spring.

@winterfairy2022 using "gotten" instead of "become" actually does sound more native imo.
