@SuperDicq @sun it's kind of like how all the devs at Konami who were on the chopping block got sent to team silent and then they made one of the greatest horror games ever.

@sun Shrek's Law dictated that every Shrek movie took twice as long to render than the previous one.

@Marakus @grey oh yeah, anarcho capitalism, the system where nobody has any power over anyone else. a tried and true classic.

@Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @fknretardlol @Sui @grey @Owl to... discuss the video? to point out inaccuracies? even just to say thanks to the uploader. unless you want every person making video replies lmao.

@Sui @fknretardlol @Jean_Philippe_Micheaux @grey i think there probably are shadowbans in place, obviously, but i also think that something is fundamentally broken with the youtube comment system. i mean their live chat has had a memory leak in it for years. tons of people complain about their totally innocuous comments just disappearing. it is an issue with the platform itself imo.

@Sui @grey this won't fuck over creators at all given that you can use a selfie or a credit card number. if you're a content creator then google already has one or the other or both. it restricts people from watching age restricted videos if their account is flagged, but you already don't make nearly as much money from age restricted videos as a creator regardless. people will heavily battle youtube on that when a video gets falsely age restricted because it already severely limits reach and monetization.

@grey the only relevant thing it restricts is watching age restricted videos, and you can provide a selfie or a credit card number instead of your ID. if you've been diligent enough to not give google either of those things then good on you i guess. i think the overlap of people who use youtube with a signed-in account but have never paid any money to google or had a picture/video of their face anywhere that google is connected to is extremely small.

they'll probably look at the content your account is watching and compare it to the channels' demographics. if you have a significant portion of your watch time on channels who primarily have a viewer base of people under 18, then your account will be flagged if its creation date was over a certain year. unless y'all are watching fortnite and roblox videos and your google account was made like 3 years ago i think you'll be fine lol.

the only thing that sucks is that it has come to this. that parents really cannot figure out how the fuck to parent their kids so someone else has to step in and do it instead. this has happened with plenty of other things in the past though so i'm not surprised in the slightest.

Man who the fuck cares about cane sugar in your Coca Cola? RFK... I have but one request...

@Wiz yeah unfortunately ikea doesn't self detolfs anymore, and the new thing they sell that is similar to it apparently isn't too good quality-wise.

i'm going to be buying something secondhand locally. right now all my figures are sitting on a wooden board on top of some makeshit walmart metal rod shelf lol.

i have a floating wall shelf too that i'm not using but yeah i wanna get something that keeps the dust out too.

pre-ordered this cute miku!
unless anything absolutely crazy comes up this is my last pre order this year, i've got a lot of figures and plushes coming and i gotta buy an actual display cabinet for them now...

@veru I just like how you can pay for 1 month and that's it. I don't always need a VPN so it is a nice option instead of buying like an entire year.
