finally finished the wall/ceiling tiles for dungeons! took HOURS. the rest is going to be a doozy for sure. i think they look really good though actually :) i'm quite proud of what i accomplished!

quick update to the whole tileset situation with the game.

uhhh the tileset i was using is missing some critical pieces i NEED to transfer over the graphics. so, i bought a similarly styled tileset pack and have just been heavily editing it to look like the other one.

i was freaking the fuck out at first, like oh man did i just pay for two tileset packs and i'm not even going to be able to use them, oh shit this is bad, etc.

but i actually managed to get it looking FUCKING FANTASTIC and i'm super proud of my work xD in no world did i think i was good enough at photoshop to do this kind of stuff but i'm doing some good work :D

RTX Remix works on dx8 and dx9 games, right?

Well, how cool would it be if that could apply to emulators as well? Dolphin Ishiiruka has a DX9 mode iirc, so it would be interesting to see if you could still use it alongside some Gamecube/Wii games to make them look crazy good.

playing nothing but n64 games for 30 days sounds more like a vacation than a challenge especially if you've got some friends to do it with. bruh there are some people that play literally nothing except for mario 64 and ocarina of time xD

one of my friends and i a couple years ago played through every single mario party with hard CPUs on every map, and at least one of us had to win (when there wasn't team mode). we probably spent a good week and a half on just the n64 games alone xD they're the hardest ones xD

it's always been one of my childhood dreams to own a legitimate time crisis cabinet. i think that would be cool as fuck.

i should know better than to watch scary shit at night. i always get the feeling i'm being watched. even if it's the most benign scary video in the world.

a few years ago i was alone at work at about 11pm waiting for my ride and watched a video on that godzilla NES creepypasta. kept my gun out next to me and made sure the doors were locked several times.

i think it wouldn't be as bad if i were in a room with no windows.

it's interesting.

put me in any setting. a crowded, loud bar. a dark night club. a random birthday party or wedding. if i'm playing music there, i'll love it. i'll be right in my element. if i'm going there for any other purpose though, there's a pretty good chance i will completely shut down and want to go home after 10 minutes.
