NFS Unbound is fun. Honestly, the car effects when you're using the Cloaked tags aren't egregious, and I actually kind of missed them when I installed a mod to get rid of them.

Granted, I have all voices + subtitles turned off completely. The story and dialogue are really annoying. Other than that though, I'm having fun. Drifting still feels super weird to me, but better than any other NFS game (other than the Hot Pursuit reboot which is the gold standard imo).

Just passed the 1st week of the story mode, of which there are 4. My prize for doing so was $40k (nice) and a really shitty looking car, which I immediately sold for another $15K or something. I've just been upgrading a Subie with Rei on it the whole time.

are graphics going backwards?

apparently, there's a reputable leaker who is saying that there will be a direct on thursday, and it will feature Donkey Kong and F-Zero.

if there is a port of F-Zero GX or a new game i will lose my shit. it's been TWENTY YEARS! I NEED MY F-ZERO.
