Going to watch someone else's playthrough of Silent Hill: A Short Message. Since, you know, I don't have a PS5 and probably never will unless I find one on the side of the road.

Just in case you were wondering just how feminist the writing of Justice league was:
just saw some gameplay for the suicide squad game.
damn, it really is bad. it's borderline giving me cotton mouth from how dry it is. just really weird and floaty.
it looks so soft and undercooked, too. i really hate how so many modern games look like this. all of the modern rendering techniques in the world can't begin to approach the heavily stylized looks of older games, which you can really only criticize for their piss filters that cover the screen (stylistically, that is). all of that effort doesn't make the games run any better either, you'll get games coming out that look bad and hope that they would run smoothly but nope, here's a bunch of stuttering and also you need a 4090 to play it at 1080p at a consistent frame rate, and that's WITH DLSS.
also, the music in that trailer sounds like booty hole. i really hope that's just something done up for the trailer and not replacing the original song in-game.
never trust the hype when something is advertised as having parts of the original team on board.
silent hill 2 remake has last of us combat and quick time events.........

Live action + Netflix = Death sentence. So many people were getting hyped about this, that it was going to be better than Shyamalan's Avatar. "It has the original writers of the cartoon, that means it's going to be great!" Well, it's missing one of them, that being the guy who didn't work on Korra. I knew this was going to be bad before it was even announced.

@nordtrack @beardalaxy The other craze I notice with some people, especially of my age bracket (late 20s) is after being let down and lied to by every single person around them, as the delusions of going "somewhere" fell to pieces if they didn't know the right person, is that they've checked out but also have no ambition or goals other than to eat, shit, and watch shows or something. Hence the term in some communities of "lay down and rot".

A modern building built out of the same painted concrete and tons of glass is the modern day commieblock aesthetic except there was a mindset that "every man will get housing for himself" at one time. Nowadays there's either blandness around you, or something deliberately offensive like fat people or dudes with skin pattern conditions as models in Target signs or styling for modern vehicles.
Meanwhile mom and dad are either checked out or are fucking their kids over.
